About the Authors:

Dr. Harvey I. Pass is a leading physician in the study and treatment of mesothelioma. He is the Professor of Surgery and Oncology at Wayne State University, Head of Thoracic Oncology at Karmanos Cancer Institute, and Chief of Thoracic Surgery at the John A. Dingell VA Hospital in Detroit. Much of Dr. Pass’s research and published works deal with lung cancer and the molecular genetics of malignant pleural mesothelioma and novel protocols for its treatment.
